Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. Richardson County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its own system.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email message may be retained long enough to answer and manage the exchange. It remains internal unless disclosure is required by a valid legal duty.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the server may record basic technical and usage details:

- Referring page or site, when supplied
- Pages viewed and time spent on them

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Richardson County Criminal History does not build, store, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general directions to the Richardson County Sheriff, local courts, Nebraska State Patrol repository, and Nebraska Sex Offender Registry. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report or a file about another person, and the site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their own privacy terms apply to input submitted through those tools, including retention and sharing rules beyond this site's control. Read the provider's policy before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Nebraska agencies, Richardson County offices, court systems, and outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy rules control. Review them before providing personal data.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across sites and select ads. That processing is governed by the provider.

Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be received by:

Rights vary by the law that applies to a visitor. Nebraska's Public Records Statutes govern access to public agency records, while Neb. Rev. Stat. §29-3523 controls public criminal-history dissemination. Those statutes do not turn this private site into a government custodian. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may:
- Request deletion of eligible personal data
- Ask what personal data is held
- Seek correction of inaccurate data
- Object to processing where the law provides that choice
